Good video on myths about “Syrian” refugees

If the West didn’t fuel civil wars with arms (& bombs), perhaps they wouldn’t need to cry crocodile tears when refugees start to flood out of those war zones?

On a side note, once in a while, it’s helpful to remember that China isn’t the only society being demonized by the western media.

About Mister Unknown

At the age of 10, Mr. Unknown immigrated to the US from China with his parents. He has had an unusual combination of experiences ever since - a 4-year enlistment in the US Army after high school, and a business development job in Russia after college. These experiences prompted him to reexamine the political dogmas that are pervasive in modern western societies. Mr. Unknown completed a dual masters program in business and environmental science, and currently works at a tech company. He hopes to advance his career in China and/or the former USSR in the near future.

  1. The plight of the refugees is the result of Bush’s and Obama’s failed post 9/11 foreign policies towards going after these ‘terrorists’ abroad.

  2. Well, since it spans America’s political spectrum, I’m going to say it’s a consistently racist attitude towards the middle east and their governments are viewed in terms of preservation/destruction. Statelessness is a terrible thing, but for countries and cultures we don’t view as worth preserving, there is no reservation in terms of destroying their government and plunder the population into stateless chaos.

This extends to China as well. Look at all the opposition groups US government funds and supports. If one day the Chinese government is removed and these dissidents do get in power – how badly will 1.4 billion Chinese citizens suffer under statelessness and a China ruled by Tibetan separatists and Falun Gong nutjobs?
